This one just cracked me up....it's in chinese but u should still see
it....someone even bid for it! U can buy it too! Captain Planet would
deffinately die from this.
Ok....Anyway...
I am not very good at writing things, so plz bear with me...
I can't believe he passed away. I had him in my last year and i am so glad i got to know him.......
It was the first day of class and my first reaction when Greenfield
told me that i got transferred to his class; scared. From all the
rumours i've heard, i wouldn't think that my last year in KGV would end
up in his class.
I stepped in, he looked at us (Joyce was there too) and the class was
so quiet. Mikey was there, Athens was there, Kimbie was there, Candy
was there, Jacky was there, Mary was there, Tony was there, Pak was
there. You would think they would go hyperactive, but no. Nothing came
out of their mouth, not a single word.
He looked at me, and i just starred back thinking "calm down idiot"
-"May I help you"
-"....................Mr Greenfield told us to come here"
-"OK"
And at that moment, i could barely feel my legs, I don't know why, but
from the reaction from my new class mates, they were like sending me a
serious message, something like: "GET OUT OF HERE IT'S GONNA BLOW".
What was actually 65 minutes seemed like 65 hours to me. My heart
pounding faster and faster, still no sound, everybody was looking down
at their maths book. I was thinking to myself that i had to go to
another class, fast, a class everyday like this would literally blow me
to smithereens.
I DID hear some talking on that day, but very quiet talking if you know
wat i mean and like always i couldn't concentrate on what they were
saying cos i was still traumatised.
The second day of school, well i remember clearly cos Joyce changed
class right away leaving me the only new guy in his class. It's going
to be like yesterday i was thinking.
I was so wrong.
This class was the liveliest i have ever been with in my entire KGV
life, and this is all thanks to him. I was so stupid to judge him so
wrongly. The feeling of being scared just vanished and it was that day,
the second day of school, that i realised he is so comfortable to be
with. He has the heart of gold, and he is EXTREMELY intellectual. He is
funny to be with, he can be an advisor, he can also talk shit with you
and make it sound so real (i remember we were talking about bras in our
maths class). His classes were my favourite
He is DEFFINATELY the best teacher to be with, i just wish i knew him at the very start of my secondary school years.
Without him, i would still be a dumbass. Without
him, i wouldn't be part of his SDG (Sexy Drifting Geniuses) Class, and
ofcourse, i was the sexiest of the group (as u can see in my profile
pic). Without him, my everyday school life would be as boring as ever.
Everyday was nothing but laughter and...more laughter......
I am so relieved i didn't drop his class Ok i'll be honest, i DID ask
Ms.Hilary (the maths head?) if i could change, but she told me to stay
instead, and i am so thankful i did.
Thank you for giving us a wonderful expirience
Thank you for everything you have taught us
Thank you for the wisdom you have shared with us
Thank you for the smiles and laughs you have given us
Thank you for everything
Thank you, Mr. Barnes
We will always remember you not just as a teacher, but also as a friend.
Thank you.
